Following team Nigeria’s overwhelming performance in the recently concluded Ivory Coast International, the team continues their competition tour across Africa.
The Ivory Coast international which saw Lagos and Nigeria’s Anuoluwapo Opeyori emerged champion of the men category singles served as a perfect curtain raiser to the new federation board headed by the very dignified Francis Orbih– a window to many more great achievements to come.
The pair of Enejoh Abah and Peace Orji defeated the Nigerian pair of Gideon Babalola and Uchechukwu Ukeh 21-18; 21-18 to clinch the mixed doubles category amongst other medals.
According to reports, In all, the Nigerian contingent won two gold, two silver and four bronze medals.
The unprecedented tour continues with the Benine international, the Ghana international and the Lagos classics latter in July.
